Who We Are
At Halfspace, Part of Accenture - Center for Advanced AI - we believe that the smallest edge can make the biggest difference. We began in sports, predicting outcomes in live football matches, and today we bring that same precision and ambition into the world of business. We're here to unlock value through artificial intelligence and help organisations make better, more informed decisions, faster.
With more than one hundred AI and data projects delivered, our work has transformed industries and earned international recognition. But awards and numbers tell only part of the story. What truly defines us is our people. Our team comes from leading institutions such as KU, DTU, Stanford, Oxford, Harvard, Caltech, Yale, Colombia and many more, blending expertise in physics, engineering, mathematics, statistics, operations research, computer science, chemistry, economics, biology, design and strategy. Together, we share curiosity, boldness, and a pioneering spirit.
Halfspace is a specialized spearheading unit within Accenture, focused on bringing the deepest expertise in applied AI. We are 'Inch Wide - Mile Deep' in our capabilities.
What You'll Be Doing
As part of the Engineering team at Halfspace, you’ll help build the data and AI platforms that power the next generation of applied intelligence. You’ll design, develop, and deploy robust systems that enable our scientists, researchers, and clients to transform data into insight — and insight into action.
You’ll work on complex, high-impact projects across industries, collaborating closely with experts in machine learning, data science, and strategy. From designing scalable data architectures and optimizing model pipelines, to integrating cutting-edge AI into enterprise environments, you’ll be at the core of turning ideas into reality.
Every line of code, every system you shape, will contribute to our mission: delivering the smallest edge that makes the biggest difference.
Who We're Looking For
We’re looking for engineers who combine deep technical ability with intellectual curiosity and a drive to push boundaries. You thrive in solving complex problems and take pride in building elegant, high-performance systems.
You may come from a background in software engineering, data engineering, MLOps, or platform architecture — but above all, you have a passion for applying technology to create meaningful impact.
We value:
Strong proficiency in one or more of Python, Java, C++, or similar languages
Experience with modern data and AI infrastructure (e.g., cloud platforms, distributed systems, CI/CD, containerization)
A solid understanding of software design principles, scalability, and performance optimization
A collaborative mindset and ability to work across disciplines
Curiosity, precision, and a pioneering spirit — the qualities that define Halfspace
If you have less than two years of professional experience, please include your academic transcripts with your application.
