Job Purpose:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Sales Engineer to join and strengthen the current sales team of heavy equipment division. The desired candidate will report to sales manager and will be responsible for generating revenue and achieve the set sales targets through sales & marketing of heavy equipment & machineries of our franchise equipment such as Excavators, Wheel loaders, Motor graders, Telehandlers, Backhoe loaders, Forklifts, & Crushers.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales:

• Prepare and submit quotations, lead technical and commercial negotiations, secure orders, and oversee delivery.
• Achieve assigned sales targets by executing sales plans and strategies in your territory, ensuring strong area coverage and deal participation.

Customer and Project Development:

• Visit regularly assigned territory to carry out Customer visits, site visits, Quarry and mining site visits, generating leads, sales calls, follow up visits etc.
• Track upcoming projects and tenders, and maintain close contact with main contractors.

Technical Knowledge:

• Recommend suitable products and attachments based on job-site requirements.
• Conduct product demonstrations and present cost-benefit analyses (cost per ton, TCO) to clients.
• Prepare product presentations and technical comparisons and lost-sale reports.

Reporting and Coordination:

• Update and maintain regularly all the customer data and sales activities in the CRM.
• Carrying out frontline sales activities for the sales and marketing of heavy equipment in the assigned area / territory.
• Communicate frequently with after sales team to address customer aftersales requirements.

Requirements

Qualification & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial or Automotive Engineering or any equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5-7 Years of Sales experience in Oman in Construction / Heavy equipment or similar Industry.
• Should have significant knowledge of products such as Excavators, Wheel loaders, Motor graders, Backhoe loaders, Telehandlers, Forklifts, Crushers etc.
• Knowledge and experience in power generation products will be an additional advantage.
• Should have knowledge of attachments and other application-based aspects of heavy equipment.
• Effective communication skills and good knowledge of Computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
• Oman or GCC Driving License is mandatory.
• Should be willing to relocate to any branches as per company requirement.
