Engineer (Architecture Governance)

Join LSEG, a leading provider of solutions to the financial industry, as an Engineer (Architecture Governance). In this role, you will help define, build, and operate the next generation of governance processes to deliver on the Engineering Strategy. You will apply technology, including AI, to streamline processes and ensure high levels of design quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical engineering and/or architecture background, experience in PowerApps development, and effective communication and stakeholder leadership skills.

- A willingness to actively explore emerging technologies and techniques to enhance Engineering Governance capabilities including the application of AI
- Experience of PowerApps development
- An ability to respond quickly to operational issues and a willingness to seek feedback to improve how we work
- Effective communication and stakeholder leadership skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
- A strong background in software engineering and/or Architecture
- Strong analytical skill and a proactive approach to solving complex challenges, testing assumptions, and learning from outcomes
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment
- Understanding of Engineering and Technology Architecture
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to communicate at all levels to deliver goals as part of a team
- A pragmatic and delivery-focused approach
- Ability to collaborate across architecture, engineering, and governance teams
- Degree (or equivalent) and/or relevant professional qualification
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills: able to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
