Data Engineer
Location: Madrid

We are looking for a talented Data Engineer building scalable data solutions to support advanced analytics with 4+ years of experience.
You will work collaboratively with technical teams and clients, contributing to data-driven solutions while exploring new technologies and approaches.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and develop data solutions for advanced analytics.
- Work with large-scale datasets and big-data technologies.
- Design, develop and optimise data processing solutions and pipelines.
- Work with technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.
- Develop and maintain solutions using Python, Java, SQL and Scala.
- Support advanced analytics and machine-learning initiatives.
- Use tools such as Anaconda and Spark for analytics and machine-learning applications.
- Work closely with technical teams and clients to deliver effective data solutions.
- Contribute to technical discussions and continuously improve development practices.
- Investigate complex technical challenges and develop effective solutions.
- Stay up to date with new technologies and be willing to experiment with new approaches.
Key Requirements
- Advanced degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience.
- Hands-on experience building data solutions for advanced analytics with 4+ years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of big-data technologies, particularly Hadoop and Spark.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, SQL and Scala.
- Experience working with large datasets and data processing environments.
- Familiarity with advanced analytics and machine-learning tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively with both technical teams and clients.
- Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn and work outside your comfort zone.
