Senior DevOps Engineer 100% (m/w/d) – Azure | GenAI | Terraform | Kubernetes

For a client in the banking sector in Zug, we are seeking an experienced individual to build and further develop a GenAI platform on Microsoft Azure.

In an interdisciplinary DevOps team, you will automate infrastructure and releases, operate platform services, and support internal application teams with integration.

Responsibilities:

* Setting up and operating Azure cloud resources and Kubernetes applications using Terraform, Helm Charts, and GitLab

* Automating build, test, and release processes for GenAI applications

* Developing technical concepts while considering security and regulatory requirements

* Ensuring stable operation through monitoring, logging, alerting, and troubleshooting

* Supporting internal application teams with onboarding and operational issues

* Further developing solutions for authorization, routing, monitoring, and guardrails

Experience:

* Several years of experience as a senior-level DevOps Engineer

* Solid knowledge of Git, GitLab, Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Helm

* In-depth Azure knowledge, especially API Management, AKS, Functions, Azure OpenAI, AI Search, Document Intelligence, Azure Foundry, and Storage Accounts

* Experience with CI/CD as well as monitoring and logging, for example, with Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor

* GenAI project experience with RAG, Agentic AI, or LLMOps is an advantage

* Knowledge of Entra ID, RBAC, OAuth, and Python and/or Java is an advantage

* Experience in aligning technical concepts with IT security and architecture is an advantage

* Structured, team-oriented work style

* German C2 and English C1
