For our client, we are seeking a DevOps Lead to join the team of a leader in the Media space.
This role will guide deployment, release, and environment management for core business systems in a fast-paced media environment. You will partner closely with development, security, and IT operations teams to improve reliability, streamline delivery, and strengthen operational controls. The position also plays a key role in security operations, observability, and the adoption of tools and AI to increase deployment efficiency.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $112,500 – $150,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Own and optimize deployment, pipeline, and environment management for enterprise and business systems.
- Manage security operations with a focus on performance, monitoring, observability, and incident response.
- Oversee relationships with security vendors and ensure service-level agreements are met.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between software development and IT operations teams.
- Implement tooling and AI to improve deployment speed and operational efficiency.
- Establish strategies for low-risk deployments and environment management.
- Define and track DevSecOps KPIs to assess and improve quality metrics.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, release engineering, and site reliability leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and release management.
- Demonstrated ownership of security operations, including incident response and observability.
- Proficiency with relevant DevOps tools and release management platforms.
- Ability to facilitate collaboration between development, security, and IT operations teams.
- Strong understanding of security practices, including access control and data governance.
