Data Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

• Operate and continuously improve an existing migration tool to optimize migration processes

• Plan and execute complex migration projects in close coordination with interdisciplinary teams

• Ensure data integrity and security throughout the entire migration process

• Conduct comprehensive testing and validation measures to ensure a smooth and error-free transition

• Document and report on the entire migration workflow and participate in on-call duty to ensure operational continuity

What You'll Need

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field

• Several years of practical experience in data migration, with sound knowledge of SQL, MSSQL SSIS, and common migration tools

• Proficient programming skills in Python and willingness to learn new technologies such as JSON, Mirth, HL7, and internal hospital information systems

• Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills for complex migration scenarios

• Strong communication skills in German and English, coupled with teamwork, flexibility, and an independent work style
