The Role: Application Support Engineer (French Speaker is a plus)
📍 Location: Lisbon
🏢🏠 Work Model: hybrid - 2/3 days a week in the office
💰🏦 Sector: Financial Services
🗣️ Languages: French (C1) & English (B2)
✅ Eligibility: Currently living in Portugal and be legally authorized to work there
🧑 Mandatory Requirements (Non‑Negotiable)
- Experience in Production Support / RUN Operations (L2) within critical production environments;
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows Server;
- Experience with batch scheduling and monitoring tools (Control-M or similar);
- Experience in incident management, troubleshooting and operational support;
- Knowledge of middleware technologies (Tomcat, Apache, JBoss/WildFly);
- Experience with CI/CD tools, scripting (Bash/Shell) and ServiceNow.
Nice to have:
- Experience in a financial context, preferably Leasing;
- French level B1+ or higher;
- Experience with cloud, containerization and infrastructure technologies such as AWS, GCP, OpenStack, Kubernetes, ArgoCD or Terraform;
- Knowledge of monitoring, observability and identity management solutions (Dynatrace, Prometheus, LDAP, Keycloak).
Responsibilities:
- Provide L2 production support and ensure application availability in RUN environments;
- Monitor batch processing, investigate incidents and perform root cause analysis;
- Support deployments, integrations and daily operational activities;
- Maintain operational documentation and collaborate with infrastructure, application and DevOps teams.
