Software Developer

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and management of a range of rich-client enterprise web applications utilizing the latest .NET Core and Angular frameworks.
- Design and implement new application features and functionality that are fully interoperable with existing applications and infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain robust web services using RESTful APIs and WebAPI.
- Manage and optimize SQL database schemas, queries, and stored procedures to support high-performance applications.
- Collaborate on the refactoring of legacy WinForms applications into a modern, browser-based application stack, utilizing automated tools and AI-driven solutions where applicable.
- Implement and maintain strong application security protocols, including authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including infrastructure blueprinting and DevOps practices.
- Deploy and manage scalable applications within the Azure cloud environment.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation with a strong emphasis on process improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Apply design patterns and best practices to ensure code maintainability, scalability, and performance.

Requirements:
- Bachelor or master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in software development within the Microsoft stack.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in web application development using the Angular framework.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with SQL databases, specifically SQL Server.
- Proficiency in .NET 6.0 or later, C#, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Proven experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Domain Driven Development (DDD).
- Demonstrated experience working in a science-related company or laboratory environment.
- Strong understanding of application security, infrastructure blueprints, and DevOps methodologies.
- Microsoft Certifications in Solutions Development are highly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid team environment.
