About the Role

Most Important

• Expert-level Linux system administration and hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including on-premises/upstream environments and cluster lifecycle management.

• Strong experience with Terraform, Ansible, Tinkerbell, Helm, ArgoCD, Flux, and GitOps/CI/CD methodologies.

• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, OpenTelemetry, Jaeger, and service mesh technologies such as Istio or Linkerd.

• Strong understanding of advanced container networking, including BGP, Load Balancing, Ingress/Egress, eBPF/XDP, and VPP.

• Proficiency in Go or Python, with a security-first and reliability-focused approach to platform engineering.

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting large-scale on-premises or bare-metal Kubernetes environments.

• Experience with service mesh architectures, particularly Istio or Linkerd.

• Hands-on experience with advanced networking technologies, including eBPF/XDP and VPP.

• Experience building internal platform capabilities, tooling, and environments that improve developer experience.

• Experience with replatforming, infrastructure modernization, mentoring, and production on-call support.

• An understanding of the telco industry and its operational and technology landscape.
