Latent · San Francisco
Latent is the enterprise pharmacy intelligence platform, powered by a clinical agentic engine, that enables health systems to grow their pharmacy operations and serve more patients. One engine works across the pharmacy journey to identify patients who qualify for care, improve medication access, capture eligible prescriptions and support patients throughout treatment. Latent’s platform enables more than 60 leading health systems that collectively serve an estimated 70 million people. Founded by Sriram “Sri” Somasundaram and Rishabh Jain, Latent has raised $80 million from Transformation Capital, Spark Capital, Conviction, General Catalyst, Y Combinator, and others.
We are building the next generation of AI-enabled clinical systems, moving beyond the archaic Electronic Health Record (EHR) experience. Your designs will help providers and patients access critical data intuitively and efficiently, directly contributing to faster coverage, expedited treatment, and improved patient care.
As a Frontend Engineer, you will own the user interface and frontend architecture for our core product:
UX Architecture: Architect a flexible and capable React ecosystem designed to host complex, mission-critical healthcare widgets and user-facing AI tools.
Intuitive Design: Focus on high-level UI/UX to help providers and operational staff effortlessly navigate clinical data and AI-surfaced insights for workflows like Prior Authorizations and Appeals.
Frontline Impact: Design and implement interfaces that are critical to workflows involving Patient Interactions, ensuring clarity and speed are prioritized.
Collaboration: Work closely with Full Stack and Backend Engineers to define interfaces and APIs, ensuring the frontend architecture supports rapid iteration and delivery of product specs.
You are excited to translate massive backend and AI complexity into cogent, high-leverage user experiences. You thrive in our high-energy, in-office culture, and are eager to master the deep technical and healthcare domains required to build exceptional solutions.
High Standards: You hold yourself and others to high standards for code quality and user experience.
Domain Curiosity: You love learning new technologies and the complex clinical domains we operate in (e.g., Prior Authorizations).
Bias for Action: You are willing to jump into whatever needs to get done and won't wait for someone else to solve a problem that you're in a position to solve.
Tool Proficiency: You are highly proficient with your tools, speaking command line fluently and relying on keyboard shortcuts.
