About the assignment:
You will work with business-critical data flows and client reporting solutions as part of a major transformation from legacy platforms to a modern GCP-based data ecosystem. The role combines strategic technical design with hands-on development, helping to make data accessible, reliable, and ready for data-driven decision making.
Core Responsibilities:
- Drive and contribute to the technical roadmap for data and integration solutions
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, APIs, and data products on GCP
- Bridge legacy systems with modern cloud-native architecture
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with technical standards and target architecture
Profile & Qualifications:
- Senior data engineer with several years of experience in software development and data engineering
- Proven hands-on delivery experience with GCP or similar cloud platforms
- Understanding of modern data architectures including Data Warehouse and event-driven designs
- Experience with ETL processes and data modelling (dimensional modelling, Data Vault)
- Collaborative mindset with ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
