Senior Engineering Manager (Security Platform)

Join Twitch as a Senior Engineering Manager for the Security Platform. In this role, you will lead a diverse team of software engineers to build critical tools and automation solutions for security, privacy, and data engineering. You will oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable tooling and automation, and work with teams across the company on Twitch-wide programs. You should have experience in software and data engineering, leading an AI-first engineering team, and hiring and developing remote engineers.

- You are experienced in software and data engineering, you bring awareness of the industry's cutting edge, and you're passionate about security
- Experience in leading an AI-first engineering team
- Experience hiring and developing remote engineers under your guidance
- Knowledge of AWS services, open source technologies, and ETL tools and data warehousing solutions
- 7+ years of professional software development
- Experience gathering feedback from customers to inform engineering prioritization
- 3+ years as an engineering manager or team lead
- You have made petabytes of data quick and easy to work with
- B.S. or M.S. in computer science, software engineering, or a related, technical discipline
- Experience using and managing Amazon Web Service (AWS) services
- Familiarity with Twitch, either as a viewer or creator (or both!)
