The Role
• Build, operate, and continuously develop the Azure hosting infrastructure for a cloud-based healthcare solution.
• Automate deployments, ensure smooth staging and production updates, and consistently implement Infrastructure as Code.
• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines, implement modern deployment strategies, and support a Git-first approach.
• Maintain the stable, secure, and performant operation of Kubernetes and container platforms, including monitoring, alerting, and incident handling.
• Analyze complex issues, collaborate closely with development teams, and take full ownership of systems from design to optimization.
What You'll Need
• Several years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or Site Reliability Engineer with a focus on Azure and modern cloud architectures.
• A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a comparable technical field.
• Deep expertise in Azure Cloud Services, Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Bicep, ARM), CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins), Kubernetes/AKS, container technologies, and monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor).
• Fluent German (C1 level) and very good English skills, both written and spoken, for technical discussions and documentation.
• A hands-on mentality, high self-responsibility, strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative spirit with a structured, quality-conscious work style.
