Senior DevOps Engineer

Project Details

- Location: Barcelona

- Work mode: Hybrid, 1 to 2 days onsite per week

- Start date: ASAP

- Duration: Until 31 December 2026

- Extension possibility: Renewal expected, project foreseen for 1 to 2 years

- Language(s): English and Spanish (mandatory)

Mandatory Experience:

- 5+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE or Cloud Operations

- Expert level on GitHub: Actions, Apps, repository management and automation workflows

- Cloud (Azure, AWS or GCP), Terraform or equivalent, Kubernetes and OpenShift

- Observability: metrics, logging, alerting and dashboards with OpenSearch, Grafana, Prometheus or similar

- Open Source and InnerSource practices in international, cross-functional environments; autonomous and proactive

Preferred Experience:

- GrimoireLab or equivalent community metrics platform

- AI assisted operational capabilities

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field

Main Responsibilities

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions workflows and automation

- Manage GitHub Apps, integrations, webhooks and repository automation across multiple GitHub organizations

- Operate and evolve observability and monitoring platforms

- Build dashboards, KPIs and adoption metrics pipelines using OpenSearch and GrimoireLab

- Implement Infrastructure as Code, GitOps practices and self-service capabilities

- Handle incident management, troubleshooting and capacity planning
