Software Engineer

An established technology business is looking for an experienced software engineer to join the team. The role focuses on developing high-performance software solutions while actively supporting the technical growth of junior and mid-level developers. You will balance hands-on C++ programming with architectural design and professional mentoring.

What you'll be doing

• Develop complex, high-performance, and scalable software solutions using C++

• Drive automation initiatives and optimize CI/CD pipelines

• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure software quality

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level team members

• Lead pair-programming sessions and act as a point of contact for complex technical issues

What we're looking for

• Extensive professional experience in software development with modern C++ and Qt

• Proficiency in software design patterns and architectural concepts for distributed systems

• Proven experience in the technical guidance or mentoring of other developers

• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts

• Fluency in both German and English
