Associate Director of Embedded Software Engineering

As the Associate Director of Embedded Software Engineering, you will lead a team in the development of Silvus' MANET radios and other advanced R&D projects. You will work on all aspects of the system, including device drivers, networking functions, encryption, and security features. - Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts
- Expertise in network configurations and programming
- Linux kernel driver development expertise
- Experience with leading a team of engineers to do hands on development
- All employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check and drug test
- Expertise in board support package and secureboot in AMD UltraScale+ MPSoC and/or Microchip Polarfire SoC based products
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant engineering fields
- Minimum 8 years of relevant embedded system software development experience
- Strong expertise in C programming
- Experience with different security protocols and encryption algorithms such as suite of CNSA algorithms
- Proven experience with audio codecs and stream protocols
- Scripting languages such as Bash and Python
- Demonstrated experience with networking protocols such as IPsec, IGMP, SNMP
- Experience with communication systems and networking products development
- Working knowledge and understanding of NIST FIPS 140-3 and NIAP Common Criteria certification
