Sentinel are hiring a hands-on Solution Implementation Engineer for a telecom digital twin programme. You'll join a customer-facing delivery team and work with a Solution Architect. The platform builds a live model of a telecom network from OSS, NMS and inventory data.
What you'll do
- Analyse network, OSS/NMS and inventory data: structure, relationships, data quality
- Build and maintain data loaders and integrations (JSON, XML, CSV, APIs)
- Map, transform, correlate and reconcile data across multiple network sources
- Implement and validate the rules that link network, service and inventory entities
- Query and troubleshoot with SQL (and SPARQL where used)
- Write Python or Bash scripts for analysis, testing and automation
- Test, support UAT, and deploy across dev, test and production
- Work directly with the customer's network, data and infrastructure SMEs
What you'll bring
- 5+ years delivering data-driven solutions in telecoms
- Solid knowledge of at least one network domain: IP/MPLS, RAN, Core, Transport or Fixed Access
- Hands-on experience with OSS/BSS, NMS/EMS or network inventory systems
- Strong Linux/RHEL command-line troubleshooting
- Strong SQL; you can find your way around an unfamiliar dataset on your own
- Fluent English, written and spoken
Nice to have
- Knowledge graphs, RDF, SPARQL, OWL, Stardog or Neo4j
- Inventory reconciliation or topology modelling (e.g. Blue Planet, Oracle UIM, Nokia UIV, Cramer)
- Huawei NCE, Ericsson ENM/OSS, Nokia NetAct/NSP or ZTE platforms
- Kubernetes/K3s, Ansible, Git
You don't need to know every tool. Training on the platform is provided. We care most about strong telecom data, integration and problem-solving skills.
German is not required.
