We’re working with an established technology organisation that is growing its engineering team and looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a team delivering large-scale, business-critical applications.
This is a 70% front-end focused role, with a strong emphasis on modern Angular development, while still giving you the opportunity to work across APIs, backend services and cloud infrastructure. You’ll have a hands-on role in technical design, development and delivery, as well as opportunities to influence engineering practices and support other engineers.
Your Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain modern web applications, with a strong focus on front-end development.
- Build scalable, maintainable user interfaces using Angular, TypeScript and RxJS.
- Contribute to technical design and solution discussions across the application stack.
- Integrate front-end applications with REST APIs and backend services.
- Write clean, well-tested and maintainable code.
- Participate in code reviews and help promote strong engineering practices.
- Investigate production issues and contribute to root-cause analysis.
- Improve application reliability, performance, maintainability and test coverage.
- Work closely with product, architecture and engineering teams to deliver new functionality.
- Support and mentor less experienced engineers.
Your Experience
- 5+ years’ commercial experience in software engineering, ideally within enterprise environments.
- Strong front-end development experience with Angular, TypeScript and RxJS.
- Good knowledge of modern Angular, including Signals.
- Experience working within Nx or monorepo environments.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and API-driven architectures.
- Some experience working with Java/Spring-based services or similar backend technologies.
- Experience with AWS, CI/CD and production support.
- Strong understanding of automated testing and modern development practices.
- Experience with Vitest and/or Storybook would be beneficial.
- Exposure to observability tooling and AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot would be advantageous.
