Regional IT Manager – Infrastructure & Transformation

IT Manager | Helsingborg, Sweden | International remit

I’m working on an IT leadership search for a growing international business based in Helsingborg.

This is not a traditional BAU IT Manager role.

We’re looking for a technically strong, hands-on IT leader to take ownership of a complex technology environment and help drive a significant period of modernisation and transformation.

The remit is broad, covering:

• Infrastructure, networks and cloud

• ERP and business applications

• Cybersecurity and IT governance

• Multi-site / international IT environments

• IT integration and transformation

• Managing and developing technical teams

• MSPs, vendors and outsourced technology partners

A key part of the role will be assessing the current environment, improving standards and integration, developing internal IT capability and determining where expertise should sit internally versus with external partners.

Travel is a significant part of the role. The position will involve approximately 50% travel, primarily across sites in Northern Europe. During the initial months, there is likely to be an even greater onsite presence while you get under the skin of the different environments, teams and systems.

Being based within reach of Helsingborg would be advantageous, but isn't essential. We’re open to candidates based elsewhere who are genuinely comfortable with the travel commitment.

This will suit someone who is still technically credible and enjoys getting under the bonnet, but who can equally build a roadmap, lead a team and work effectively with senior stakeholders.
