DevOps Engineer | Senior

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to support scalable platform infrastructure, automation, cloud operations and secure delivery practices within the financial market infrastructure sector. This Porto-based hybrid opportunity combines data platform enablement, IT operations and cloud systems to improve reliability, automation and secure operational execution.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Design, maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines for application and data platform deployments.

- Implement infrastructure as code to support reproducible, secure and scalable environments.

- Automate operational activities through scripting and event-driven workflows.

- Manage cloud infrastructure, including storage, identity and access management, encryption and network security controls.

- Configure monitoring, alerting and logging practices to improve observability and operational response.

- Support deployment and configuration of data and development platform components.

- Strengthen access control, API protection and security practices across cloud and operational environments.

- Improve platform reliability, incident response and troubleshooting for large-scale user environments.

- Collaborate with data engineering, IT operations and technical stakeholders to ensure stable and secure service delivery.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- Senior-level experience in DevOps, platform engineering, cloud operations or SRE-oriented environments.

- Proven ability to take ownership of systems end to end, from automation and deployment to reliability and incident response.

- Strong problem-solving skills in complex technical environments.

- Ability to work across technical teams and translate operational needs into scalable automation.

- Professional working proficiency in English.

- Collaborative, responsible and solution-oriented approach.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

- Cloud platforms, preferably AWS.

- AWS S3, IAM, encryption and secure access management.

- CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or Jenkins.

- Infrastructure as code, including Terraform or ARM.

- Scripting with PowerShell, Bash and Python.

- Monitoring, logging and alerting systems.

- Network security, API access control and IAM policies.

- SSIS, SSAS or comparable data platform components.

- Git-based development workflows.

NICE TO HAVE

- Exposure to ITIL processes or IT operations workflows.

- Experience with containerization using Docker or Kubernetes.

- Familiarity with Active Directory or enterprise IT environments.

- Experience with GitHub, GitLab, GitGuardian or Jenkins.

- Knowledge of SRE practices.
