What Will Make a Candidate Strong
- Previous experience as a Data Engineer
- Strong ETL/ELT expertise
- Experience building scalable cloud-based data platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of data modeling, data mining, and data analytics
- Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies
- Computer Science or IT degree (Master's degree is a plus)
Main Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT data pipelines
- Build and maintain data ingestion frameworks from multiple data sources
- Develop and support data warehouses, data lakes, and data marts
- Ensure data quality, governance, security, and integrity
- Monitor and improve data pipeline performance
- Work closely with business and technical stakeholders
- Automate data processing and reporting workflows
- Support Azure-based cloud data platforms and big data solutions
