Software Engineer

Join Orchard's engineering team as a Software Engineer, where you'll build and maintain the systems behind our website and tools that help agents reach new customers. You'll work on both backend and frontend systems, collaborate closely with product managers, designers, engineers, and business stakeholders, and have real ownership and visibility in your work. - Comfortable reviewing code you didn't write
- Experience with tools like AWS, Postgres, SQL, Kafka, Airflow, Docker, or CircleCI is a plus
- Interest in a hands-on team where engineers ship quickly and have real impact
- A low-ego, problem-solving mindset. You take ownership, improve what you touch, and ask for help when something doesn't add up
- Experience directing AI coding tools effectively
- At least 2+ years of experience as a software engineer
- Strong skills in at least one language relevant to our stack (Python, TypeScript, or Go), with solid knowledge of APIs and data modeling
