Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer – FinTech

Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer to scale and strengthen a growing FinTech platform. The role will focus on AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes, platform reliability, security, CI/CD, observability, and PostgreSQL performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, manage, and scale production infrastructure on AWS.
- Build and operate production-grade Kubernetes environments.
- Improve platform reliability, availability, performance, and scalability.
- Build and maintain Terraform/IaC, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and deployment tooling.
- Partner with engineering teams on PostgreSQL performance, backups, reliability, and scaling.
- Strengthen cloud infrastructure, network security, and access controls.
- Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and reliability improvements.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of DevOps, SRE, Platform, or Infrastructure Engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes in production.
- Strong Terraform / Infrastructure-as-Code experience.
- Experience with CI/CD and observability/monitoring tools.
- Good knowledge of PostgreSQL administration, performance tuning, and scaling.
- Experience scaling high-availability production systems.
- Strong understanding of cloud, network, and application security.
Preferred
- FinTech, banking, lending, payments, wealth management, or financial-data experience.
- Experience working in SOC 2 compliant environments.
- Python experience.
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
