Role: Bigdata Engineer Lead

Job Description:
- Proven experience migrating legacy data platforms, particularly Amazon Redshift to Snowflake.
- Strong knowledge of cloud data warehousing, data modeling, schema design, governance, and lifecycle management.
- Experience designing data retention, archival, and partitioning strategies to support regulatory and business requirements.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience using modern data engineering tools such as dbt, Airflow, or equivalent platforms.
- Understanding of Snowflake performance and cost-optimization practices.
Leadership & Delivery
- Strong combination of technical solution design, business analysis, and product ownership experience.
- Experience with requirements gathering, backlog management, stakeholder alignment, and Agile delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior and mid-level data engineers.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience managing change and supporting organizational adoption during large-scale technology or platform migrations.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with business change management frameworks.
- Exposure to enterprise-scale cloud data platform modernization.
- Knowledge of Snowflake cost optimization, performance tuning, and governance best practices.
