You’ll be joining a fast-growing team focused on developing innovative microelectronics solutions for the automotive industry. Our technology plays an important role in modern vehicles, enabling components to communicate, measure, regulate, and control critical functions across areas such as safety, comfort, powertrain, and vehicle networking.
Our portfolio covers a wide range of technologies, including advanced lighting systems, LiDAR and ultrasonic ranging, object and gesture recognition, thermal management, electronic fuse control, and Smart Sensor Platforms (SSPs). Requirements
- Degree in Electrical/Electronic and Computer Engineering or a comparable technical qualification
- 2-3 years of software and/or system development for embedded systems, preferably in the automotive industry
- Understanding of embedded systems and C programming
- Bare metal development
- Experience with HW, oscilloscope
- Knowledge of the ARM Cortex-M environment
- Knowledge of automotive bus systems (focus on LIN/CAN/FR) and interfaces
- Methodological knowledge of requirements engineering, software architecture, programming and testing as well as knowledge of the relevant standards (Automotive Spice, ISO 26262) and agile software development methods
Nice to have:
- Experience with sensor technology (ultrasonic applications, pressure measurement technology, filter concepts and characteristic curve correction methods),
- Experience with light control and mixing methods/calibration (focus on RGB-LED)
- Experience with SW Requirements and Architecture design, SW Detail Design and Implementation.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, maintain, and document embedded software for automotive applications
- Define software development and testing requirements for functionally safe customer solutions
- Collaborate closely with customers, business lines, hardware and software engineers, and test managers
- Contribute to the development of cutting-edge applications such as ultrasonic distance measurement, ambient light sensing, and intuitive user interfaces
- Take ownership of technical decisions and contribute ideas throughout the product development lifecycle
- Help shape automotive products with direct impact on the driving and user experience
