We are looking for a PHP / CMS Joomla Developer who will be responsible for building, developing, and maintaining software, supporting our Client's applications, and closely collaborating with the project team. The position assumes hybrid work. The office is located in Warsaw.
Your tasks
- Designing and developing software based on PHP and the Joomla CMS
- Creating new functionalities and developing existing solutions according to business requirements
- Ensuring code quality by applying good programming practices, code reviews, and security standards
- Maintaining and updating technical documentation for implemented solutions
- Proposing and implementing improvements in the software development area (tools, process improvement suggestions)
- Optimizing performance, security, and stability of the created solutions
- Consulting and providing substantive support during working group meetings regarding ongoing projects
Requirements
- Over 5 years of experience in software development using PHP (versions no older than 7) and the ability to apply security standards in code
- Proficiency in programming in PHP version no older than 8.2, supported by the completion of at least two projects
- Practical knowledge of JavaScript and the React.js library (at least 3 years of experience or a minimum of 3 projects), including knowledge of the Joomla CMS template system using them
- Fluency in using Git or GitLab (minimum 3 years of experience or at least 5 completed projects)
- Practical knowledge of the Joomla CMS development environment version no older than 4 (at least 2 components, 2 modules, and 2 plugins created in version 4 or higher)
- Experience in writing unit tests using PHPUnit (minimum one year of experience or at least 2 completed projects)
- Ability to write unit tests for React.js using Jest and libraries from the testing-library family (minimum one year of experience or at least 2 projects)
- Required to be located in Poland and fluent in Polish
