Join our team as a Software Engineer (DevOps/DevSecOps) and play a crucial role in advancing space-based technology. In this advanced position, you will design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes deployments, with a focus on air-gapped operations. You will also design and maintain infrastructure using secure IaC tools, implement observability solutions, and integrate security practices throughout the development lifecycle. - You must have strong expertise in container technologies, GitOps workflows, infrastructure as code, software development workflows, and security tooling

- 5+ years of related professional experience
- Requires bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree or master's experience)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to design, code, test, and debug complex software development environments
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance is require
- Ability to mentor and guide other engineers
- Experience with different software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum/Kanban
- Security Plus or IAT2 certification
- Proven experience as a DevOps/DevSecOps Engineer
- Proficient in one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
- Experience designing CI/CD pipelines (preferably using GitHub or GitLab)
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible
- Proficiency with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
- Experience with Windows and Linux software development
- Ability to identify bottlenecks in software development and create solutions to increase efficiency
- Strong understanding of security and software development best practices and principles
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Google Professional DevOps Engineer)
- Experience with additional DevSecOps tools and methodologies
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Experience with logging and monitoring tools (ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana)
- Experience deploying and configuring GitLab and Artifactory
- Experience with C/C++ build tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants. Adjudicative factors which affect the outcome of the eligibility determination include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and illegal drug use
