Join our team as a Middleware Engineering Intern for Summer 2026. You will work on building the core platform infrastructure that powers our robot, tackling challenges such as enabling high-volume message exchange, data capture and storage, and developer tools for visualization and interaction. This internship is ideal for students in their final year of an undergraduate or master's program, as well as recent graduates. You will implement and test C++ software on embedded Linux systems, write Python scripts for issue resolution, and work with our testing infrastructure. Strong understanding of Linux, proficiency in C++ and Python, and experience with hardware/software projects are required.
- Available for a minimum of 10 weeks (1–2 terms preferred)
- Strong understanding of Linux
- Solid knowledge of computer architecture and networking protocols
- Graduate student or recent graduate in Computer Science or related field
- Proficient in C++ and Python
- Demonstrated experience on hardware/software projects outside of coursework
- Familiarity with timing-sensitive environments
- Exposure to TypeScript
- Knowledge of shared memory and lock-free systems
- Experience with the Bazel build system
