What you’ll do
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Argo CD, or similar) that take code from commit to production safely
- Provision and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP using Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation
- Run and scale containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE), including Helm and GitOps workflows
- Automate configuration, patching, and operational tasks with Python, Bash, Go, or Ansible
- Build observability: metrics, logs, traces, and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK, or OpenTelemetry
- Embed security into delivery (DevSecOps): secrets management, image scanning, policy-as-code, and least-privilege access
- Improve reliability through SLOs, incident response, and blameless postmortems
- Optimize cloud cost and performance without slowing teams down
- Build self-service tooling and golden paths so developers can help themselves
- Partner with engineering, security, and product teams to remove friction wherever you find it

- Senior DevOps Engineer - 5+ years : Architecting the platform, setting standards, leading major initiatives, shaping our cloud and delivery strategy

What you bring
Must have
- Hands-on experience with Linux and at least one cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Working knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools
- Scripting ability in Python, Bash, or a similar language
- Familiarity with containers and basic Kubernetes concepts
- Understanding of networking fundamentals, version control (Git), and infrastructure-as-code principles
- A “fix the root cause” mindset and clear communication when things are on fire
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience (home labs, bootcamps, and self-taught engineers welcome). We hire for skill, not pedigree.
Nice to have (not required)
- Certifications: AWS DevOps Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect, CKA/CKAD, Azure DevOps Engineer (AZ-400), Terraform Associate, or similar
- Experience with GitOps, service mesh (Istio, Linkerd), or platform engineering practices
- Knowledge of SRE principles: SLIs, SLOs, error budgets
- Experience with security tooling (Vault, Trivy, Snyk, OPA, Checkov)
- Familiarity with cost management (FinOps) and multi-account cloud setups
- A home lab, GitHub repos, or open-source contributions you can talk about
