Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building and optimizing tech solutions to accelerate our sustainable energy future. You will work on internal financial modeling tools, write quality code, steer projects from conception to completion, and guide more junior team members. - Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases
- Ability to ask appropriate questions, analyze data, identify the root causes of problems, and present creative solutions
- 7+ years of full stack software development experience at companies with 10 or more developers
- Ownership mentality and initiative to make improvements to code, processes, and user experiences across the organization
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with users and business stakeholders, facilitating software and process requirements
- Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond your organization
- Eagerness to develop a fundamental understanding of how Nexamp operates and then apply that knowledge effectively to inform business decisions
- Experience building and optimizing consumer-facing frontend applications in React and TypeScript
- Experience building financial forecasting software is a plus
- Robust understanding of web standards, infrastructure (databases, storage, caching, content delivery, etc.), and cloud platform offerings
- Experience developing and optimizing web-based solutions in modern Python, ideally using Django, FastAPI, or similar frameworks
- Experience leveraging debugging expertise and a proven track record of independently solving problems
- Experience in showcasing initiative to make improvements to current work, processes, products, and services across the organization. We value accountability and an ownership mentality
- Understanding of cutting edge AI tools and a commitment to leveraging them to rapidly deliver high quality software
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git, CI/CD pipelines for automated testing & deployment, and infrastructure tools like Terraform
- Expertise in building strong internal and external relationships with customers and stakeholders, instilling trust and loyalty across the industry
