*** Senior Infrastructure Engineer | OCI / Kubernetes / Terraform ***

We are looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a major, long-term infrastructure migration project within the telecommunications industry.
This is a hands-on infrastructure role focused on supporting complex enterprise environments, Kubernetes-based infrastructure, Terraform automation, and migration activities across on-premises and cloud platforms.
You will join an established, distributed technical team, taking ownership of critical infrastructure activities and collaborating with cloud, infrastructure, and engineering specialists to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure environments.
What you’ll be doing
- Support infrastructure migration activities across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Design, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Manage infrastructure code and collaborate through GitHub or GitHub Enterprise workflows.
- Support cloud infrastructure across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Investigate and resolve complex infrastructure, platform, and operational issues.
- Work closely with infrastructure, cloud, application, and engineering teams.
- Contribute to infrastructure stability, operational efficiency, and technical best practices.
What we’re looking for
- Strong experience as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer in complex enterprise or production environments.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerised infrastructure.
- Solid experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Practical experience with GitHub or GitHub Enterprise.
- Proven experience supporting infrastructure migrations involving on-premises and cloud environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, automation, and cloud platforms.
- Experience deploying, managing, and maintaining enterprise infrastructure in production.
- A proactive mindset, strong technical ownership, and the ability to work effectively within distributed teams.
- Fluent Spanish and English are mandatory.
Nice to have
- Strong experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) — a significant advantage for this project.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Oracle WebLogic administration and infrastructure support.
- Knowledge of Oracle Database environments.
- Experience with hybrid cloud architecture and enterprise-scale migrations.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and infrastructure automation.
- Knowledge of cloud networking, security, monitoring, and high availability.
- Relevant Kubernetes, Terraform, or cloud platform certifications.
Contract details
- Location: 100% remote, working from Spain.
- Contract type: Freelance / Autónomo.
- Duration: 12 months, renewable, with long-term potential.
- Working hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
