Staff Software Autonomy Applications Engineer

Join Shield AI as a Staff Software Autonomy Applications Engineer. In this role, you will provide technical expertise and support to customers during the implementation and use of our enterprise software products. You will work closely with customers to understand their requirements and ensure successful product integration for AI & Autonomy development. You will also develop AI & Autonomy applications, deploy Hivemind AI infrastructure at customer sites, and provide technical training to customers. This position requires intermediate proficiency in Python, strong technical background in software engineering, and experience in the defense aviation or robotics industry.

- Intermediate proficiency in writing Python code
- Strong technical background in software engineering
- 3+ years of experience working in a startup environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience of industry experience
- Strong proficiency in writing modern C++ code
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- 3+ years of experience in an integration/applications engineering role
- Experience in the defense aviation or robotics industry
- Experience building and running a small enterprise software applications/solutions engineering team
