Data Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

• Design and conceptualize modern data platforms for integrating and processing large data volumes from various systems.

• Advise clients on cloud transformations and agile software projects, working closely with them to understand their needs.

• Migrate existing applications to the cloud using Lift & Shift or Lift & Reshape methodologies.

• Implement tools and solutions for data quality assurance, data cleansing, and preparing aggregated data for analysis.

• Support pre-sales activities, including presentations, pitches, and responding to complex client inquiries.

What You'll Need

• Several years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on data-driven projects, data warehousing, or building data platforms.

• Proficiency in developing data pipelines and integration streams (ELT/ETL, Azure Data Factory, DBT, Stored Procedures, or similar tools).

• Strong understanding of data modeling, with experience in methodologies like Data Vault, Data Mesh, Kimball, or Inmon.

• Experience with Linux, networking, and security best practices.
