AMD is seeking a senior system power engineer, providing thought leadership and subject matter expertise to our growing team. As a key contributor, you will have a strong technical background to contribute to all aspects of the innovative system with partners. Based in Shenzhen, this role bridges AMD system design teams with ODM/OEM partners and power component suppliers. The core focus is to surface external technology trends back to the internal team. A key expectation is to identify and evaluate innovation solutions for next-generation products, keeping AMD ahead on subsystem technologies.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on power engineering specialist with strong expertise in board-level power delivery and system-level platform design. A strong understanding of the power-component ecosystem. You can assess complex technical trade-offs, drive issues to closure, and turn competitive and supplier insights into practical recommendations.
