About the role
We are looking for a Senior GenAI Application Engineer to join the technology team. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on building reliable, production-ready GenAI applications for enterprise users. It is not a research or prompt-engineering-only position.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop and enhance GenAI applications using orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain or equivalent.
Build agentic workflows, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), tool-calling features and prompt orchestration for enterprise use cases.
Work with open-weight models, hosted LLMs and various model-serving approaches.
Connect GenAI solutions to enterprise systems, APIs, data sources and operational platforms.
Make sure solutions are production-ready through logging, tracing, evaluation, fallback handling and troubleshooting.
Review solution designs, point out weaknesses and recommend better approaches.
Work closely with application, data, platform, security and infrastructure teams to deliver solutions.
Take a practical, delivery-focused approach, with no over-engineering and no hype.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 6 years of software engineering experience, with proven delivery of GenAI applications into production (not only prototypes or demos).
Strong hands-on experience with LangGraph, LangChain or similar frameworks, including RAG, agentic workflows, tool calling and prompt orchestration.
Experience integrating LLMs and open-weight models into real applications through APIs, backend services and enterprise data sources.
Strong backend skills in Python, Java or similar, with good understanding of API design, distributed systems and production resilience.
Experience with observability, logging, tracing and troubleshooting, plus familiarity with Kubernetes or OpenShift.
Writes clean, testable code, with strong analytical and debugging skills.
High ownership, curious, and a strong communicator who can challenge designs and work across teams. Banking or finance experience is not required.
Good to have: DeepAgent, Langfuse, Elastic, Redis, vLLM, or experience deploying GenAI on cloud/container platforms.
