The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce DevSecOps Platform Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of secure and scalable DevOps automation solutions for our enterprise Salesforce platform. Our ecosystem processes complex, high-volume transactions across multi-currency environments, requiring bulletproof security, continuous compliance, and high availability.
In this role, you won't just manage deployments—you will architect the automated backbone of our Salesforce infrastructure. You will build self-service CI/CD pipelines, enforce enterprise security controls (such as SOC2), and enable development teams to ship code to production safely, quickly, and with zero friction.
Key Responsibilities
- CI/CD Pipeline Engineering: Design, build, and maintain automated, source-drven deployment pipelines using SFDX, GitHub Actions, and enterprise orchestration platforms (Copado, Gearset, AutoRABIT).
- DevSecOps & Compliance: Embed automated security validation, static code analysis (SAST), and deployment quality gates into CI/CD pipelines to ensure compliance with SOC2 and enterprise governance standards.
- Environment & Multi-Org Governance: Manage non-production and production Salesforce environments with automated sandbox seeding, standardized branching/release strategies, and robust rollback and disaster recovery mechanisms.
- Observability & Operational Excellence: Build end-to-end monitoring and automated alerting for pipeline failures, deployment performance, and integration health. Perform rigorous root-cause analysis (RCA) on failed releases to continuously minimize deployment risk.
- Collaboration & Platform Enablement: Partner directly with Salesforce Developers, QA Automation, Security, and Product Architects to define engineering standards, shift security left, and cultivate a strong DevOps culture.
Key Requirements
- Experience: 7+ years of DevOps/Platform Engineering experience, with at least 4+ years specifically dedicated to Salesforce enterprise environments.
- Salesforce Ecosystem: Deep technical experience with SFDX CLI, Git/GitHub, package-based development (2GP), and Salesforce release management tools (Copado, Gearset, AutoRABIT, or similar).
- Security & Governance: Proven track record of integrating automated security scans into release pipelines and supporting enterprise compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC2).
- Scripting & Automation: Strong scripting and automation skills (Bash, Python, or Node.js) for custom automation and pipeline-as-code development.
- Delivery Discipline: Direct experience operating within Agile environments, managing multi-org deployment strategies, and executing zero-downtime releases.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
