Building and operating distributed systems for spam detection and message delivery, the full-time Software Development Engineer will work with minimal guidance to create technical designs, translate requirements into code, and troubleshoot high-throughput services.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain systems for inbound protection and message delivery, ensuring high performance and reliability
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools to enhance coding efficiency and validate outputs
- Review code, provide constructive feedback, and assist in performance tuning and troubleshooting
Required qualifications
- BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field with a solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and networking
- 3+ years of backend software development experience in Java, Go, or C++
- Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools and sound judgment regarding code correctness and security
- Solid understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience with public cloud services (GCP or AWS)
- Hands-on experience with machine learning and familiarity with containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
