The Role
- Develop and evolve a modern, scalable AWS cloud-based data platform.
- Design and maintain robust data pipelines, ingestion frameworks, and processing workflows.
- Support the migration of existing datasets into a unified data architecture.
- Collaborate on platform design, data modelling, and database optimisation.
- Manage and optimise PostgreSQL and time-series database environments.
- Improve data quality and governance, ensuring platform reliability and scalability.
What You'll Need
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer in a FinTech or financial services environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python coding.
- Extensive AWS experience, including Data Lakes and S3.
- Experience building and supporting large-scale data pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and time-series data (e.g., TimescaleDB).
- Familiarity with orchestration platforms like Dagster or Airflow.
