A leading global organisation is investing heavily in a multi-year technology and AI transformation programme, building new capabilities from the ground up rather than simply modernising what already exists.
This is an opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to join a highly-calibre, specialised team focused on designing and building new solutions across software engineering and AI. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment where engineers are given ownership, expected to solve complex problems, and encouraged to take ideas from concept through to production.
With a strong focus on Agentic AI, RAG and MCP, you’ll be working at the intersection of traditional software engineering and emerging AI technologies — building robust, scalable solutions that can operate in a real-world enterprise environment.

What You’ll Do
- Design and build scalable, production-ready software solutions using C# and .NET.
- Work on greenfield applications and services within a large-scale AI transformation programme.
- Build and integrate AI agents into enterprise software solutions.
- Develop and work with RAG pipelines and AI-powered data retrieval.
- Build and integrate MCP-based tools and services.
- Work closely with AI and engineering specialists to turn ideas and prototypes into robust production solutions.
Key Requirements
- 10+ years' professional software engineering experience, with strong hands-on development experience.
- Strong C# / .NET experience, ideally across modern .NET, APIs and distributed/microservice-based systems.
- 1–2 years' hands-on experience building AI agents, with practical experience working with MCP and RAG.
