Work with the software engineering director or engineering mentor on assignments that further the team’s objectives
Contribute to production code, develop test applications, or build test frameworks
Create documentation, reports, and presentations for project tracking or technical review
Build reports, APIs, web services, web development solutions, ETL jobs, database development, and other required development tasks on KCE’s proprietary software
Develop new features and functionalities in the existing codebase
Populate, analyze, and manipulate databases in MS SQL Server and Microsoft Fabric
Participate in design discussions and code reviews
Perform other duties as required
Requirements:
Undergraduate and/or post-graduate degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
Experience with Python and/or C#, .NET, HTML, CSS
Experience with Visual Studio Code / Visual Studio, GitHub, and Azure
Knowledge of client-server concepts and web services
General knowledge of cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines and Docker containers
Exposure to object-oriented design principles, data structures, and design patterns
Excellent communication skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Interest in clean energy and power markets
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Experience with SQL and large data sets is a plus
