# Senior Software Engineer – Java & Angular
## About the Role
Fincons Group is seeking a highly skilled **Senior Software Engineer** with strong expertise in **Java backend development** and frontend experience with **Angular**. The role involves joining an **Agile Release Train (ART)** within a **SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)** environment and contributing to innovative **CRM and enterprise software projects**.
You will be responsible for developing and integrating Java-based backend solutions, microservices, and REST APIs, while also supporting transversal feature development, bug fixing, secure coding, and the delivery of solutions aligned with business requirements.
## Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, integrate, and test **Java backend solutions**, microservices, and REST APIs.
* Contribute to the development and lifecycle management of robust **Java and microservices-based solutions**.
* Provide technical expertise and consultation to Agile teams and product owners.
* Gather requirements and document technical solutions aligned with business objectives.
* Develop and maintain enterprise CRM features and transversal functionalities.
* Perform bug fixing and support application improvements.
* Apply **secure coding practices** and ensure solutions meet regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate within an **Agile Release Train (ART)** operating under the SAFe framework.
## Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in **Computer Science, Engineering**, or a related field.
* At least **5 years of experience** in software design and development.
* Strong professional experience with **Java 21+**, including versions up to Java 25.
* Excellent knowledge of Java **Streams, Lambda expressions, and Try-with-resources**.
* Good knowledge of **Angular**, including recent versions.
* Strong understanding of **microservices architecture**.
* Advanced practical experience with:
* Spring Boot
* Spring Framework
* Spring Data
* RESTful API design and implementation
* Solid knowledge of **JPA and Hibernate**, including:
* Entity modeling
* Query optimization
* Transaction management
* Persistence-layer best practices
* Experience with **test automation**, including JUnit and TDD.
* Experience with **relational databases**, particularly Oracle and PostgreSQL, including stored procedures.
* Experience with **Git** and **GitHub Actions** for version control and CI/CD.
* Knowledge of **SwaggerHub** and experience understanding and managing **JSON API payloads**.
* Experience working in **Agile and SAFe environments**.
* **Italian and English proficiency is required.**
## Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with **BDD and Cucumber**.
* Additional experience in enterprise CRM systems and transversal feature development.

## Education & Experience
* **Education:** Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or Engineering.
* **Experience:** Minimum **5 years** in software design and development, with strong Java expertise.
## Work Arrangement & Location
* **Location:** Canton Ticino, Switzerland, or Italian border areas close to Switzerland, such as **Como, Italy**.
* **Remote Work:** Fully remote work is **not offered** for this role.
* **Work From Home:** WFH days may be possible depending on the client’s policy.
* Candidates should be prepared to **relocate** to the specified Swiss or nearby Italian areas.
