Join Motorola Solutions' Video Division as a Principal Software Engineer. In this role, you will provide hands-on technical leadership across cloud and on-premise platforms, leveraging your expertise in C++ and C#. You will be responsible for architecting high-performance, large-scale applications and APIs that support machine learning pipelines and intelligent workflows. You will also champion modern engineering practices, including DevOps, CI/CD, and test automation. This is an opportunity to contribute to a product that plays a critical role in safety and security.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD, test automation, Observability, and DevOps
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related
- Experience using an AI first approach to software development
- Deep expertise in distributed systems architecture, microservices, and high-throughput real-time data/media streaming protocols
- Experience working in a large code base
- 10+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
- Extensive experience in C++
- Experience working with databases (Berkeley, Postgres)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- 10+ years of software development experience
- Successful delivery of a large-scale public-facing application
- Experience developing applications in one of C++, Rust, C# and .NET
- Experience developing cloud applications in Azure
