About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer specialized in Cloud AWS to join our expanding Cloud Center of Excellence. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing, developing, and maintaining robust data solutions for our diverse clients. Your expertise will contribute to building scalable data pipelines, evolving Data Lake and Data Warehouse architectures, and implementing efficient ETL/ELT processes. You will collaborate closely with business teams to understand their needs, automate deployment and monitoring processes, and ensure the continuous improvement and security of data platforms. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, leveraging AWS services and big data technologies, in a dynamic and innovative environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in AWS cloud services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, Athena, Redshift
- Experience in cloud architecture and best practices on AWS
- Strong knowledge of monitoring, security, and governance tools within AWS
- Solid development skills in Python and SQL
- Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline construction
- Familiarity with Big Data frameworks, especially Spark
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Knowledge of containerized environments using Docker
- Practices of Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and/or CloudFormation
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Data Engineer, Solutions Architect, or equivalent are preferred
