Design and build Seeq’s internal platform infrastructure and services used by engineering teams to deploy and operate software products
Collaborate with product management and engineers to architect and implement robust, secure platform components
Provide common services and capabilities that enable application teams to focus on customer innovation
Evolve interfaces between systems
Optimize infrastructure
Migrate existing functionality to new services and infrastructure
Enable efficient software delivery
Build multi-tenant clusters
Integrate security best practices
Enable product scalability and reliability
Mentor and guide engineering teammates
Provide architectural direction and technical leadership at Staff or Principal scope
Requirements:
8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including significant experience building platform services, infrastructure, or distributed systems
Proficiency in backend technologies, including Go or Python
Proficiency with infrastructure as code systems such as Terraform, OpenTofu, or Pulumi
Deep understanding of AWS, Azure, or GCP
Deep understanding of distributed systems including Kubernetes
Deep understanding of microservice architectures
Experience building scalable, reliable platforms supporting data-intensive applications
Expertise in infrastructure development and configuration, software delivery, and integrating security practices in platform development
Strong background in system architecture, production system migration, and infrastructure cost and performance optimization
Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills, with experience guiding engineering teams
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional and remote environments
Passion for continuous improvement and modern methodologies such as Agile and CI/CD
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Must be authorized to work in the country in which you reside
