We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a growing Data & Analytics team and play a key role in developing and improving the company's data platform.
Description
Your responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and data warehouse solutions using Snowflake, SQL and Azure Data Factory.
- Work with data from Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and other enterprise systems.
- Design and improve data models supporting reporting and analytics.
- Develop and maintain Power BI datasets and reports.
- Analyse existing data flows, identify dependencies and improve reliability and performance.
- Help establish strong documentation, data ownership and knowledge-sharing practices.
- Troubleshoot data and pipeline issues and take ownership of solutions.
- Contribute to data platform migration and transformation projects.
- Work closely with engineers, business stakeholders and IT leadership.
Profile
What we are looking for
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, BI or Data Warehousing.
- Strong hands-on SQL skills.
- Practical experience with Snowflake or a comparable cloud data warehouse.
- Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, ideally Azure Data Factory.
- Experience working with ERP data, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
- Good understanding of data modelling and data warehouse architecture.
- Experience with Power BI.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a high level of ownership.
- Ability to work effectively in an evolving environment where not everything is already defined or documented.
- Fluent English.
Nice to have
- D365 F&O data entities, DMF, BYOD or Synapse Link.
- Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Lake or Synapse.
- Dataverse / D365 Customer Engagement.
- BaaN or other legacy ERP experience.
- Data platform migrations and data governance.
- Experience mentoring engineers or acting as a technical lead.
