We are looking for a Software Engineer who enjoys turning real user problems into useful software and owning features from idea to release and beyond.
You will work across both frontend and backend, building both customer-facing features and appraisal tools. You will collaborate with other engineers, product experts, UX-research and our in-house appraisers, to understand problems, validate ideas, and get quick feedback.
We are a small, collaborative team that values initiative, fast learning, and pragmatic delivery. Experimenting with AI is highly encouraged, both as part of your development workflow and when building new product capabilities.
Was solltest du mitbringen?
- At least two years of professional software engineering experience
- Experience building and shipping web applications
- Willingness to work across frontend, backend and infrastructure
- A strong user and product focus
- Comfort working with imperfect knowledge and changing requirements
- A preference for rapid prototyping and iteration over extensive upfront planning
- Ability to balance delivery speed, maintainability, scalability, and technical quality
- Confidence using AI-assisted development tools and experience building AI-powered software
- Prior experience with AWS and infrastructure as code
- Professional fluency in English
- German language skills are a significant advantage since the valuation business is in German
