Windows/VMWare Engineer

About the role

System Administration of Windows/VMWare environment.

Key responsibilities

• System Administration of Windows/VMWare environment

• Knowledge of Windows 2008/2012/2016/2019 Servers, VMWare ESXi

• Active Directory Management (OU/GPO/Forest and domain config)

• Deployment and management of Hyper-V VMs

• Patch management and Vulnerability Management

• Troubleshooting skills in OS & VMWare related issues

• Extensive Experience in ESXi patching

• Perform Patch assessment and recommend/plan deployment

• Automation of Pre and Post patching tasks

• BIOS upgrades and firmware upgrades

About you

• 6-9 years of Experience in Windows System Administration

• Excellent Verbal and written communication skills

• Good interpersonal Skills

• Experience working in a SLA driven environment

• Ability to work in a flexible, team-oriented and constantly changing environment

• Able to work on weekends as per Roster and perform On-call support (during weekdays)

• Knowledge on Windows 2008/2012/2016/2019 Servers, VMWare ESXi (Must Have)

• Hyper-V / Vmware - Deployment and management of hyper V VMs (Must Have)

• Patch management and Vulnerability Management (Must Have)

• Troubleshooting skills in OS & VMWare related issues (Must Have)
