Role Description As a Firmware Engineer at Ci Global, you will design, develop, and maintain embedded software for Thermal Vision™ and related safety products. On a day-to-day basis, you will implement and optimize firmware on embedded and ARM-based platforms, integrate software with electrical hardware components, and perform thorough debugging and testing to ensure system reliability. You will collaborate closely with electrical engineering, product, and quality teams to refine requirements, improve performance, and resolve technical issues in laboratory and field environments. Documentation of designs, test results, and best practices will be part of your routine responsibilities. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Rzeszów.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Embedded Software and ARM Architecture (ESP, Nordic, TS, STM) for developing and optimizing firmware on microcontroller-based systems.
• Candidates should possess solid Software Development and Debugging skills for implementing features, resolving issues, and ensuring stable, high-quality code.
• Candidates should possess foundational Electrical Engineering knowledge for working effectively with hardware schematics, sensors, and power systems.
• Candidates should have experience with C/C++ for embedded systems, version control tools (e.g., Git), and common embedded development environments.
• Experience working with cloud backend system for integration like IoT hubs, MQTT protocols etc
• Candidates should demonstrate good analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate in cross-functional engineering teams.
• A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
• Experience with safety-critical or industrial systems, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and hardware testing tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers) is beneficial.
