About the role
The Forward Deployment Engineer will bridge the gap between product engineering and business needs by working directly with customers, stakeholders, and technical teams. The role involves understanding business challenges, designing and deploying enterprise-grade GenAI solutions, and translating customer requirements into scalable products that deliver measurable business value.
Must-have Requirements
- Experience: 8+ years in software engineering, solution architecture, technical consulting, or customer-facing technology roles.
- Enterprise deployments: Proven experience deploying enterprise-scale applications, particularly in regulated environments.
- GenAI & LLMs: Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG architectures, AI agents, vector databases, and GenAI application development.
- Prompt engineering: Knowledge of prompt engineering techniques and AI model integration patterns.
- AI implementation: Experience deploying AI solutions in enterprise environments.
- Programming: Proficiency in Java, Python, C#, or similar programming languages.
- Cloud platforms: Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Architecture: Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- DevOps & infrastructure: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Technical leadership: Proven ability to lead implementations and deliver measurable business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with customers to understand business needs and technical requirements.
- Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale GenAI applications and AI-powered solutions.
- Implement LLMs, RAG architectures, AI agents, and vector databases.
- Integrate AI models with existing enterprise systems, APIs, and microservices.
- Lead technical implementations in regulated enterprise environments.
- Collaborate with product engineering and delivery teams to turn customer feedback into scalable product capabilities.
- Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, reliable, and aligned with business objectives.
